We finally had our first major snowfall!
I’ve already seen tons of Instagram posts: snow falling, snow on the ground, snow on the buildings, snow on the trees, selfies with the snow, and the list goes on and on.
The snow definitely got me excited as well, and I’ve taken some of my own photos! In my last post I mentioned that the campus looks beautiful during the fall season, and I think I can follow up that it looks just as beautiful in the winter.
Now that winter has arrived, it’s time for some holiday spirit! The snowmen have been built, and the snowball fights have begun. In my residence, people are blasting holiday music while decorating their rooms with holiday and winter decor! Floors are planning their Secret Santa gift exchanges and Christmas movie nights. The season is really bringing out the enthusiastic children in all of us!
Now is also a great time to buy some Western winter gear. I’ve yet to purchase a purple sweater, and I think I might just need an extra sweater to survive the winter! I’ve also seen some really cute Western mittens, and conveniently, I forgot my mittens at home in Toronto. I hear that winter can be pretty extreme in London, so you may as well look good while embracing the cold!
I can’t wait to hear more about everyone’s winter spirit and the activities occurring on campus! 🙂 Although it’s cold outside, make the most out of the last bit of the semester through the holiday cheer!
